MEET PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHER
BRANDON PATELLOS
Hello, my name is Brandon and I've been behind the lens of camera close to half my life. I'm 25 years old but have been shooting photography for 10 years. Copious amounts of self guidance went into creating the photographer I am today. Everything learnt was self taught through trial + error, hardwork, and perseverance. What others struggled with, I was somehow able to pick up with ease. Breaking boundaries and enhancing my work kept driving me to excell my photography.
None of this would be possible without my biggest inspiration as a young portrait photographer. His name was Arthur St. John and he still resides in Los Angeles, California. His work used a very unique lighting technique implemented outdoors which made his photos pop, but was uncommon for the time. Fast forward past the years of mastering similar artistry, outdoor off camera flash is now the main source lighting my portraits.
I love crafting a portrait at a special location and seeing the joy it brings my clients. Getting a beautiful photo all starts with a person looking and feeling their best though. This is why my business focuses on the 5 steps mentioned above. As a photographer, I want the client coming to their session knowing they are going to have a wonderful experience, so I'm happy to take the extra time to help design their dream shoot, personally pick out their outfits, and guide them through their pictures during the shoot. No matter the stage of the process, I promise to give my full attention to each individual client making sure to personally cover any concerns or hesitations that come up.
